Last November I released Glow in the Dark, my post-apocalyptic Forged in the Dark supplement. I did the whole self-publish to drivethrurpg thing with it. It was a lot of work, especially considering my original plan was just a google doc, but I don’t think it gets hated on or anything, so I consider it a success.
Insomniacs is my current project, a sci-fi game where you play crew members on a cryogenic colony ship who get thawed out to deal with problems and scout alien worlds for habitability. It’s PbtA-inspired, but draws a lot of influence from Lasers & Feelings as well as Unknown Armies. I’m working on this one off and on, and while I feel I’ve got the system in a good place I’m trying to line up another playtest to determine if I’ve made something other people will respond to or if it’s just something I need to exorcise from myself.
Thirdly, I’ve got vague notions of making a Star Wars heartbreaker since my local group runs Star Wars in just about every new system we get our hands on and none of them have been “the one”.
