My followup to Insomniacs this week is a space opera meets office politics playset for the excellent new edition of Fiasco. I had this much more convoluted idea for a one-shot session in an undecided but more traditional ttrpg system where everyone was secretly sabotaging some evil empire’s ultimate weapon, ala Galen Erso from Rogue One. I couldn’t make it work until I realized that it didn’t want stats or fancy rules about hidden information. It wanted the freedom to be a fiasco.
