Big Bot Bash

I’ve decided I’m going to try Bill Making Stuff’s Big Bot Bash. I’m posting this as a halfhearted attempt at accountability, but we’ll see how it goes considering I could have spent the time I took to write this post to bash a bot instead!

Cyclops eyes, stick arms, body spikes, wired legs, and it’s a Bangarang competitor.

If this is supposed to be some kind of community challenge thing like the January create-a-character-a-day thing or the ongoing February describe-your-homebrew campaign thing, having the original impetus paywalled behind a patreon account is going to kill participation. The ugly-ass Mork Borg design style for what I guess is the bulk of the rules is no selling point either. When making a bundle of charts, at least make them easily readable.

Whole thing reminds me of Clay-O-Rama, which is at least a pleasant memory.

Gaunt head, long arms, camouflaged body, wheeled legs, tastes like an assassin

Two natural ones out of five rolls, have to keep that die away from my RPG sessions

Obvious approach is to bash one of the spare cars left over from that flash-in-the-pan Gaslands fad with a pop-up Grim Reaper head and big long murder-servos that unfold when it strikes, concealing itself as an ordinary vehicle until then. Maybe something more original will manifest if/when I actually build it.

Coincidentally, it would make a very good fit for one of the battle-car lieutenants of the Fnord Model M I blogged about over here:
